Preparation
At your first appointment, we will start by getting your teeth ready for the veneers. This involves carefully removing a thin layer of enamel (about the thickness of a fingernail) to create space on your teeth. After that, we will take an impression of your smile, which will be sent to a dental laboratory close by. They will use this impression to create your veneers with great accuracy.

Bonding
Your second appointment at our office will be scheduled in approximately 10-14 days. During this visit, we will carefully attach your porcelain veneers using secure methods. Before bonding, we will gently clean your smile and then use specialized dental cement to ensure the veneers are firmly attached to your teeth. These veneers will not only feel and look like your natural teeth but also offer an extra enhancement that makes them stand out.

At the third appointment, Dr. Schaake will bond the veneers, which act as an extra layer of enamel, to the front surface of your teeth. You will then have a few days to showcase your new smile to friends and family and practice eating, speaking, and smiling with your refreshed teeth.
During your final appointment, we will make any required modifications to the shape of your teeth and conduct a scan to determine if you need retainers or a night guard to safeguard your new smile while you sleep.
